About

Esme Ellis

I was born in the steel town of Sheffield, where, at the age of eleven, I was somehow-or-other given a scholarship to the local College of Art. Twelve years later I left the Royal College, London for Rome with an ARCA in my pocket, eager to begin my brilliant career as a sculptor—but Life was making other plans. Struck down by a serious illness, virtually paralysed for many years, hammers, chisels, and oxy-acetylene welders were no longer an option. Then a miracle changed my life. This story is told in my first book, Pathway Into Sunrise, (an autobiography with a difference; see reviews.)

My initial foray into the medium of fiction, Clea and the Fifth Dimension, followed four years later with a foreword by best-selling author, transpersonal psychotherapist and spiritual teacher, Ruth White. This Strange and Precious Thing, which I describe as multi-dimensional and visionary fiction, is my third book to date.
